Advanced Reaction Sensors

Accurate and precise temperature control in all vials

The MicroSYNTH is equipped with the most advanced reaction sensors, including contact-less temperature and pressure control in all vessels, and direct temperature and pressure control in a single reference vessel. For the first time TEMP-SURE allows monitoring and controlling of both external and internal temperature of all vials in real time during the reaction. This unique state-of-the-art system includes the ATC direct temperature control in a reference vessel and the IRT contact-less infrared temperature control for all vials.

Both sensors are interfaced with a microprocessor-controlled rotor positioning system. This latter device enables the software to identify which vessel is passing in front of the infrared sensor while the rotor is turning. The software correlates the internal and external temperatures data and all profiles are displayed with the corresponding ID code of the vessel. With TEMP-SURE the chemist receives confirmation that each vessel has reached the set target temperature and that this temperature has been held for the appropriate time to allow completion of the reaction. This new development allows to fully document the reaction temperature of all vessels and not only of a single reference one.

Direct temperature control

The ATC-FO Automatic Temperature Control by Fibre Optic system allows for direct continuous monitoring and control of a reference vessel. The temperature sensor is housed in a thermowell and protected from chemical attack by a multiple layer of inert PTFE and ceramic, ensuring troublefree operation.

Contact-less temperature control in all vessels

The MicroSYNTH features a focused, high-sensitivity infrared sensor for contact-less temperature monitor and control of all vessels, with individual temperature profiles for each vessel.

Direct pressure control

The Automatic Pressure Control system allows for direct monitoring and control of a reference vessel up to 55 bar. Pressure monitoring and control are ideal for maintaining pressure limits within the vessel’s specifications.

Contact-less pressure control in all vessels

This sensor monitors the vapor concentration in the entire microwave cavity, and effectively controls all vessels simultaneously, preventing any leakage of organic solvents.
