MonoPREP Module
The MonoPREP module is designed for rapid and
reproducible reaction optimization at elevated
temperatures and pressures, using a single 12 ml or
50 ml reactor vessel. With its very fast cooling (close
to 30ºC/min.), support for small volumes (as low as
2 ml), and choice of glass or quartz reactors, the
MonoPREP is one of the most popular accessories in
Milestone’s wide range of tools.
• Fast heating. Reactions can be set to reach their
target temperatures in a minimum of time.
• Stirring of solutions. The labstation’s built-in
magnetic stirring works well with the MonoPREP.
• Temperature control. In-vessel temperature
monitoring is performed by an in-vessel fiber-optic
probe, for intimate contact with the reaction mixture
to ensure extreme precision. An infrared sensor
monitors the surface temperature of the vessel for
added safety.

pattern (shown below) cools the reactor at close to

MedCHEM Kit
The highly flexible MedCHEM Kit, for use with
Milestone’s MicroSYNTH labstation, offers reaction
vessels and sample processing tools for drug
discovery work, ranging from 2 ml to 160 ml.
Each chemist can have his own kit of reactors,
providing total control and limiting the risk of
contamination.
A researcher can walk up to the MicroSYNTH
microwave, process his samples in his own reactors,
and take the samples back to his own workbench to
finish them for analysis.
