The VAC-1000 acid scrubber module

Efficient use of a microwave labstation for volume reduction requires a safe and reliable source of vacuum.
The VAC-1000 Module meets every criteria for these demanding applications. A high performance, full PTFE vacuum pump, draws evaporated acid vapors through the VAC-1000 Module where they are efficiently recovered in a water cooled condenser. Any remaining vapors pass through a high capacity, acid neutralization module.
Designed for safety and durability, the system is completely enclosed with key modules clearly visible and with a rninimum of vacuum connections.
Milestone's VAC-1000 Module is a high performance system that integrates a vacuum pump, a water cooled condenser and a neutralizing module to completely neutralize and/or recover acid vapors. It is the perfect complement to the MMR rotors for volume reduction and/or acid removal from digestate samples in Milestone's Microwave Labstations.
