Our PYRO-Flow option allows you to process samples that generate a large amount of volatiles and soot, particularly valuable for the Petroleum and Plastics industries. A perforated quartz tube in the top of muffle is attached to a compressed air source and draws out the fumes, volatiles, and soot from the chamber. Additional benefits of the PYRO-Flow option include rapid, complete ashing of larger sample sizes with continuous airflow, efficient exhaust of all pyrolysis gases out of the microwave cavity, and safe and easy to handling and cleaning.
The PYRO system dramatically reduces ashing times, from hours to minutes.
The following table provides examples of the kind of time reduction you can expect to benefit.
